BioI first got into altfic back in the good 'ole Xena days after "The Quest" came out. I'd been watching her from the Action Pack/Hercules movies days but was entralled when the "was that a kiss? OMG! It was! woohoo!" came out.
I started writing X/G fanfic not too long after that, like many, many others. I wrote quite a bit, but let it all go after a few years out of boredom maybe, or possibly the biggest writer's block of all time.
I continued reading whatever I could get my greedy little hands on however (You can see just about every tv show that I read fanfic from in my "interests" list) and it wasn't until just recently that I started thinking about writing again. I don't plan on using LJ for writing, but I'll probably use it to post links.
My penname was Silk, so I'll definately be writing under that.
